Drug Arrests/Stolen Property Recovered on Silverthorne Circle

(Paulding County, GA) On Thursday June 8, 2017 Deputies with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office responded to 786 Silverthorne Circle Douglasville, GA 30134 which is in southern Paulding County reference a report of drug activity at the residence. Upon arrival, Deputies met with the occupants of the home and detected a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the residence. Responding Deputies then contacted Agents with the Haralson-Paulding Drug Task Force (HPDTF) who responded to the scene.
After a short while, HPDTF Agents secured a search warrant for the residence and then conducted a subsequent search of the home. As a result of their search, Agents located numerous types of illegal narcotics and possible stolen property inside the residence. Below are the names of the subjects who were arrested and charged with multiple Violations of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act:

  • -Reckless Conduct
  • -VGCSA Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce
  • -VGCSA Possession of Oxycodone
  • -VGCSA Possession of Alprazolam (Xanax)
  • -VGCSA Possession of Amphetamine

Whitney Lashall Hayden W/F 28 YOA

  • -Reckless Conduct
  • -VGCSA Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce
  • -VGCSA Possession of Heroin
  • -VGCSA Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute
  • -VGCSA Possession of Amphetamine
  • -VGCSA Possession of Alprazolam (Xanax)
  • -VGCSA Possession of Alprozolam with Intent to Distribute
  • -VGCSA Possession of Oxycodone
  • -VGCSA Possession of MDMA (Ecstacy)

During the course of the search, Agents and Detectives located a large quantity of computers, printers, and other electronic devices that were brand new and still in their boxes. There was such a large number of items, Detectives had to continue the search on Friday June 9, 2017. On Friday, Detectives called two moving trucks to respond to Silverthorne Circle in order to get all of the items back to the Sheriff’s Office. At this point, Detectives and Agents with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are still looking into this case in an attempt to determine where the electronics came from, however it is believed that they are stolen.
