Paulding Retired Educators Meeting Nov. 2017

The Paulding Retired Educators met at the Hardy Family lake house on November 14th for a delicious covered dish luncheon. Speakers were Sgt. Ashley Henson and Sheriff Gary Gulledge of the Paulding County Sheriff's Department. The following topics were presented: the construction of the new jail and security concerns. Members were advised to beware of phone scams, to pay attention at all times to surroundings, to know where exits are, and to be aware of the benefits of home alarms and security cameras and of the usefulness of social media in crime solving. Members made donations to Paulding Helping Hands. The next Paulding Retired Educators meeting is on January 9th at 2 PM at the First Baptist Church in Dallas.
