This year we had 28 artists participating in the Competition submitting a total of 62 works of art. Our Competition Judge was Carrollton artist, Tom Nielson. After judging Mr. Nielson said, "This is a fine show and each and every work in it is a successful work of art.

Paulding Juvenile Court Judge Sandra Miller administered the oath to 25 volunteers last week at the Paulding Airport Terminal Conference Center to be court-appointed special advocates (CASA) for abused and neglected children. Volunteers advocate for the best interest of children placed in the custody of the Department of Family and Children Services.

The Richland Creek Reservoir (RCR) is part of the Richland Creek Water Supply Program. It is a new 305-acre reservoir that once completed, will supply up to three billion gallons of drinking water to existing and future residents of Paulding County.
