East Paulding High School Raiders football team and Head Coach Van Spence was presented the revolving “Battle” trophy on Friday night. East Paulding came out pumped up and led the entire game. Paulding County High and Head Coach Justin Pressley battled all night and his team played with grit until time expired.

Braly Scholarship Fundraiser and Award Dinner to benefit the Wellstar Foundation and Braly Scholarship Fund. The evening celebrated not only the legacy of Dr. S.U. Braly but also the service of two community pillars, while raising more than $15,000 to help local students pursue careers in healthcare.

Paulding County Rotary Club held its 14th Annual Pigskin Preview, a public event held with the purpose of providing all Paulding County high school football coaches with the opportunity to showcase their offseason goals, mindsets, and accomplishments, and recognize 3 players for their outstanding performance during summer practices.
The Paulding Rotary Club presented a $50,000 donation to the Chattahoochee Tech Foundation during a ceremony held Tuesday, Aug. 5, at the college’s Paulding Campus. This major gift will establish two annual endowed scholarships for local students.
The Paulding County Master Gardener Extension Volunteer Scholarship has awarded local students who study agriculture and related fields with support for 16 years. Recently, Master Gardeners awarded scholarships to three very worthy, local high school graduates, from Paulding County. This scholarship expansion was thanks in part to generous community donations from individuals and the Dallas Garden Club, as well as funds generated from the Annual Paulding Master Gardener Plant Sale.
