The East Paulding Raiders suffered their largest point loss, 45-14, to the Harrison Hoyas. The Raiders have not seen such a large loss since 2004 against Rome (47-6).

AT&T presented Chattahoochee Technical College with a $12,000 check as part of the telecommunications corporation’s continuing commitment to support workforce development efforts. The donation will be used to help fund the college’s Veterans Support Center at the Marietta Campus.

In February the Board of Commissioners approved a $9.2 million contract with Atlanta-based New South Construction Co. to build Union Park on 160 acres at Mulberry Rock and Billy Bullock road. The park is planned to open by spring of 2017.
