Paulding County has joined almost half the counties statewide in offering residents the opportunity to pay their tag registration through a Kiosk in a retail location. Paulding Tag office officials together with County officials held a ribbon-cutting in Dallas at the Dallas Commons store last week, though the Georgia Tag Kiosk has actually been at the site since August.
The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, the Paulding County Fire Department, the Paulding County Board of Commissioners, the Paulding County School District, the North Georgia Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and multiple local businesses and churches have come together to bring relief to those who are suffering.
The Hiram Police Department collected $3,120.00 because of the generosity of local businesses. The money raised by this project became “Mary’s Gift”, in honor of the daughter of a long-time employee of Hiram Police Department, Nora Gibboney.

Six Lawrence University football players have been chosen for the All-Midwest Conference team in a vote of league coaches. Linebacker Eder Bellegarde and receiver/returner Cameron Wicks were both first-team selections. Safety/returner Terrell Myers was chosen for the second team on both defense and special teams, and quarterback D'Andre Weaver, receiver Tanner Morris, and defensive lineman Zachary Adams also were second-team picks.
All Paulding County Government offices will be closed Thursday, November 25, 2021, and Friday, November 26, 2021, in observance of Thanksgiving. Offices will re-open Monday, November 29, 2021, at 8 a.m.
On Tuesday, November 9, 2021, Deputy Bruce Brott, who works in the Uniform Patrol Division at the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, was awarded the Paulding County Board of Commissioner’s Public Safety Award.
