ACCG, Georgia’s County Association, recently honored Representative Howard Maxwell, District 17, with a 2015-2016 Legislative Service Award. Todd Edwards, Associate Legislative Director with ACCG, presented Rep. Maxwell with this award at the May 10, 2016.
This Paulding Rotary Club meeting took place at the WellStar nursing and rehab facility formerly known as Paulding Memorial. It was a bright day and not to hot as the club members showed up with trucks full of food for the annual cookout.

Hannah Rull, recipient of the2016 Paulding County Master Gardener Extension Volunteer Scholarship, recently joined the local Scholarship Committee to accept the award. Hannah is a student at the University of Georgia in Athens.
Author and illustrator of My Little Maxine, Sharon Elkin, visited Mrs. Dukes’ and Mrs. Raiford’s kindergarten class at New Georgia Elementary. Students enjoyed asking many questions regarding the book.
