Our Summer Reading theme of “On Your Mark, Get Set, READ!” has come to a close for this year, but that doesn’t mean that the fun, free activities at the New Georgia Library will stop! This Thursday, the 21st, like most Thursdays... we will have a silly, family storytime! We’ll be reading stories all about yummy, healthy food and using dances and songs to help us get through the books! Storytime always starts at 10:30, but get here a few minutes early to claim your spot on the storytime rug! After every storytime, we have a craft time where we make a take-home to go along with our weekly theme!
If dancing and crafts sound like too much for your little one, think about joining us for baby storytime on Tuesdays at 10:30! This is a toned down version of our classic Thursday storytimes, where we focus on the basics: Learning colors, words, numbers, and having fun! Our babytime rhymes need a little bit of help from a grown-up, and are oh-so-much fun! The recommended ages for babytime are birth to two years old.
