Creekside celebrates the Olympics Senior Style!

While the world was watching Rio, Creekside Pines Senior Living Community celebrated with their own Olympics. Marking the 20 year anniversary of the Atlanta summer Olympic games, Creekside Pines residents displayed their memorabilia from those games. From August 15 th through the 19 th , the residents showed their skill through events such as chair volleyball, synchronized snack toss, target golf, discus throw or Wii bowling championship tournament. Every day was something new. The Hiram High School Takedown Wrestling Club donated gold, silver and bronze medals for our closing ceremony. Pat Chastain received the Most Valuable Athlete award winning 12 medals; 2 gold, 9 silver and 1 bronze.
