Paulding Fine Arts celebrating 35 years of bringing the arts to Paulding County

Paulding Fine Arts is celebrating 35 years of bringing the arts to Paulding County! April is a full month of our efforts to continue with our mission!
Paulding Fine Arts, along with the City of Dallas, is hosting the 36th Annual 14th District of Georgia Congressional Art Competition. The student art is on display from April 9th through April 24th in the Hall Gallery at the Historic Courthouse Gallery & Studios. Please drop by and view some amazing work from High School Students from around the 14th District and help us select a "People's Choice" winner! A reception and Awards presentation will be held Monday, April 24, 2017 at 6:00pm at the same location. The Honorable Congressman Tom Graves will be presenting the awards for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention winners. PFAA is offering a PASTEL WORKSHOP on Saturday, April 29, 2017. This work shop will be taught by Gary Baughman. Gary just won 1st Place for his Pastel "Magic Moment" in our 27th Annual Spring Competition. The workshop will begin at 10:00am and end at 3:00pm at the Historic Courthouse Gallery & Studios. Also on Saturday, April 29th PFAA will be participating in the Dallas City Fest! We'll have a booth near the Historic Courthouse Gallery & Studios, so come by and meet us and then go on up to the gallery and enjoy both our Courtroom Exhibit: 27th Annual Spring Competition and vote for People's Choice and the 37th Annual 14th Congressional Student Art Competition in our Hall Gallery and vote for People's Choice for this exhibit as well.
Paulding Fine Arts is now accepting vendor applications for our 2017 Fall Fest! Please visit our website for information and application. Both application and booth payment are required to secure your spot. We are pleased to have Thomas Cage of Swing Shift Entertainment as our DJ and Master of Ceremonies. For the kids we have Balloons by Betty again this year creating adorable balloon animals and other fun shapes!
