DALLAS 2016 MASON OF THE YEAR
At the annual Spring Family Night held at Dallas Masonic Lodge 182 on Main Street, (dallasmasoniclodge182.org) Tim Adair of Dallas, GA was presented the Dallas 2016 MASON OF THE YEAR award by the Grand Master of Masons in Georgia, Most Worshipful Brother Gary Leazer, Ph.D.
This award is presented annually to a Brother Mason who epitomizes the highest standard of leadership, fellowship, service to the Craft, and brotherly love. The man receiving this award has demonstrated a willingness to serve, not only his individual Lodge, but Masonry in general through his conduct and actions during the preceding year.
In addition to his participation in many of the lodge’s activities and his duties as the lodge’s Junior Deacon, Tim is also the lodge Ambassador to the Masonic Home of Georgia in Macon. The Home is a non-profit organization that is funded by the Masons of Georgia. It is a residential child care facility that provides basic care to children in need. In his capacity as Ambassador Tim has been not only a cheerleader but also an active supporter, vocal fund-raiser, prolific letter writer, and frequent visitor to the Home and its residents. As such, he has single-handedly elevated the lodge’s involvement in and support of the Home.
