Summer Reading may have zoomed by over the past six weeks, but the New Georgia Library is ready to celebrate all of the reading and fun activities we’ve shared this year! Our summer reading wrap-up party will be on Wednesday, July 13th at 11 AM. Now, this is no ordinary party... this is a FOAM party! With our special guest, Paul Esterline, we will be hosting a foam party that will be perfect for children of all ages! After the foam, we will be having face painting, drinks, and small snacks for the kids, and also getting in our last entries for our summer reading prizes! (We can’t wait to give away these bikes and tickets to great attractions all over the Atlanta area!) This is also a great opportunity to turn in your reading log to get a certificate and a treat for being such a great reader!
Our teen Summer Reading wrap-up will be on Friday, July 15th at 2 PM. For teens, this will be your last chance to get a punch on your card, to be entered to win the Kindle Fire we’ve had displayed! We’re celebrating our teen readers with a movie and pizza party! Did we mention these activities are all 100% free?
Although Summer Reading may be over, our regular schedule will resume on July 18th with all of the fun activities you’ve come to love from the library.
