Abney Elementary Book Fair

Abney Elementary was proud to welcome our grandparents to our "Grand Event" during the recent book fair. The event has changed a bit over the years as our school has grown. We started with grandparents coming for lunch and staying to shop with the students during the school day. As our population grew, we simply couldn't fit everyone in for lunch any longer. The past few years we have had our "Grand Event" on Tuesdays during our book fair from 2-6pm. The families can drop in during that time for a sweet treat and shopping. This allows more time and the kids still get to enjoy having their grandparents at school. We look forward to this event every book fair!
