As we look ahead to our 3rd Annual Run with the Badges 5K Glow Run, I would like to invite you to be a part of an event that has raised over $20,000 to aid our county’s public safety officers. This year’s race is being held on June 3rd, and we want you to be a part of this fun, family friendly event. Our 5K Glow Run has become a signature event for Paulding Public Safety Appreciation, Inc. Excitement for our race continues grow exponentially. Paulding Public Safety Appreciation is a non-profit group that has a board made up of citizens and all the public safety groups in Paulding County (Sheriff, Marshal’s, Fire, Metro Ambulance, Animal Control, District Attorney’s Office, E911, Hiram Police, Dallas Police). We hold a free event to the public every year in October to collect funds for all public safety personnel that may be in need (hurt in the line of duty, death, hardships, etc). This event has been so successful that we started doing an annual 5K Run to raise additional funds and help even more public safety personnel. By the way, public safety applies to all public safety in personnel that live or work in Paulding County only. So, if there is a Cobb Firefighter that lives in Paulding County, they would be included along with all our public safety employees that work in Paulding.
Last year, we were proud to host over 750 runners and we anticipate at least 1000 runners for 2016. We were so excited to see so many citizens and businesses in support of public safety. We raised a lot of money for a great cause and we had so much fun!

Attached (download PDF) is the paperwork which describes what you get for each sponsorship level. Please know 100% of the money raised goes straight into the fund and is tax deductible. Oh…..and you can have your business name on the back of the t-shirt for advertisement all year along with other various advertisement opportunities.
