Dr. Bardhan joins Georgia Cancer Specialists in Paulding, Kennestone
Georgia Cancer Specialists, the comprehensive cancer care leader in the state, announced the addition of Dr. Pooja Bardhan at its Paulding and Kennestone offices.
“We are very excited to welcome Dr. Bardhan to our practice,” said Dr. Al Soltan president of Georgia Cancer Specialists. “We are adding her expertise and enhancing medical oncology and hematology services in a convenient, community-based setting.”
Dr. Bardhan is board-certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine, with a special interest in breast cancer care. Prior to joining Georgia Cancer Specialists, Dr. Bardhan was Assistant Professor at Wake Forest University Baptist Health (WFBH) and served as Medical Director of WFBH Cancer Center of Davidson County. She is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and has her Master’s degree in Public Health. “The diagnosis of cancer is life changing for all touched by it — the patients, families, and caregivers. This is one of the fields in medicine in which there is a special bond and trust with my patients as I maneuver them through their journey,” said Dr. Bardhan. “I consider each patient as an individual and recognize that they are not simply defined by their cancer diagnosis.”
