Sergeant Mike Willingham Awarded Commissioner’s Public Safety Award
Paulding County, GA. On Thursday November 10, 2016 Sergeant Mike Willingham of the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Motor Services Division was awarded the Paulding County Board of Commissioner’s Public Safety Award. Sergeant Willingham was awarded the Commissioner’s Public Safety Award for his exemplary service to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office. Sergeant Willingham has been employed with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office for 24 years and has held many roles during that time. As the Sergeant over the Motor Services Division, he makes sure that the over three hundred motorized vehicles that are in the Sheriff’s Office fleet are in good working order and ready to go every day. Sergeant Willingham is relentless when it comes to making sure all of our vehicles are safe and free from any problems. He gets to work early and stays late and will not stop until he has a solution to any vehicular problem that occurs. He is self-motivated and works closely with Paulding County Fleet Maintenance along with the local car dealerships to ensure everything is ordered with all of the proper specifications. Sergeant Willingham does an excellent job and is a deserving recipient of this award.
Sergeant Willingham was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Board of Commissioners along with a “Dinner for Two” Gift Card from Texas Roadhouse.
