Paulding Meadows 2017
Paulding Meadows has been a Paulding County tradition for 38 years now. This year, 2017, likely broke last year's record turnout. Despite the news of extreme weather on the way Paulding County residents turned out in record numbers for this year's Paulding Meadows Festival. There were an estimated 70,000 participants at this past weekend's event.
Paulding Meadows has grown over the many years into one of the biggest events of the year for the County. With the cooperation of 11 Paulding County non-profit Civic Organizations; Paulding County Chamber of Commerce, Paulding County Rotary Club, Dallas Woman’s Club, Paulding, Paulding County 4-H Club, 773 Scouters Association, Paulding County Math Teachers, Paulding County High Band Boosters, East Paulding Band Boosters, Hiram High School Band Boosters, South Paulding Band Boosters. All of these non-profit groups joined together to help promote and produce the event in cooperation with the event staff led by, Dee McClain. All Members of the Festival are Volunteers and receive no compensation. Each organization gets an equal share of the Gate receipts for different responsibilities.
The Paulding Meadows staff would like to thank all of the sponsors including the Paulding County Sheriff's Department for all the help in bringing the event together. Additionally, they would like to thank all of the residents of Paulding County for making this such a wonderful event. Thank you.
