Assistant Chief Jim Boshell Retires from Dallas PD

The Dallas Police Department would like to announce the retirement of Assistant Chief Jim Boshell. Jim has served the citizens of Dallas for over twenty-two years and will be greatly missed. Today he was honored for his service by receiving a rocking chair, his duty weapon, and uniform badge. Assist. Chief Boshell has been instrumental for many of those years coordinating the Annual Christmas Parade as well as many other events. Most recently, he has served as the Assistant Chief over Administration. He is looking forward to spending more time with family and friends and enjoying the holidays for the first time in many years. We wish him the very best as he well deserves!
