More than two dozen Career and Technical Education students from South Paulding High School took part in the Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) Day at the Georgia Capitol on Wednesday. Students had the opportunity to speak with Paulding’s own State Representative Micah Gravley, Representative Amy Carter, and Georgia Association for Career and Technical Education Executive Director Matthew Gambill.
SPHS CTSO’s and Program areas represented were Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), Culinary Arts Instructor Patrice Martin, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Business and Technology Instructor Shamair Watkins, and SkillsUSA (formerly VICA), Cosmetology Instructor Emily Stephens, and Construction Technology Instructor Kelly Almond.
