Ribbon Cutting for The Yellow Submarine
A Paulding Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting was recently held at The Yellow Submarine. The Yellow Submarine opened in June of this year. Dani Gudinas said that “my husband Mike came up with the name, which is, of course, a clever play on words that show our love of The Beatles.” She went on to say “We have always been self-proclaimed “foodies” and we just found a need in our area. While there are other sub shops in the area, our concept is different. Our food is totally fresh. We bake our bread a couple of times daily, cut our meat to order, and many of our veggies come from the Atlanta Farmer’s Market. We use high-quality products and pack the subs full!”
Since opening, they have gotten tremendous support from their family, friends, and the community. Dani said “We live locally and love our community! We know it is important to give back by supporting local schools, sports programs, and charities. We offer discounts to civil servants as well as teachers. There are so many schools in the area and teachers are so important and appreciated.”
While we are of course known for our subs and huge, fluffy, fresh sub rolls, we also offer other delicious food options. We now have soup for the fall and winter and also bake awesome cookies. We have a variety of unique potato chips as well as potato salad and macaroni salad. For those who are more health-conscious, we can make any sub into a salad with a huge variety of fresh veggies. We also offer a wonderful gluten-free sub roll. We have a range of catering options and local delivery.
