Ribbon Cutting for Gyro City Grill

A Paulding Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting was held on March 15th for Gyro City Grill Hiram located in the Paulding Commons Shopping Center with Academy Sports. Owners Ted and Rosey Varno are excited and encouraged by the warm welcome they have received from the people of Hiram and Paulding County since opening their doors earlier this year. Their son Matt Varno is the General Manager and they take great pride in being a family owned and operated restaurant that creates a family atmosphere for the staff and their guests. You may notice some influences of the Marietta Diner in Gyro City Grill including the incredible Cakes that greet you as you enter. Reason being; Ted and Rosey are business partners with George Tselios, 40-year veteran Restauranteur and founder of the Marietta Diner.
The Varno family is thrilled with their decision to open Gyro City Grill in Hiram and they have nothing but very positive things to say about their experience with the City and County. In fact, they asked us to pass along their sincere gratitude to the Paulding Chamber of Commerce, Paulding Board of Commissioners Chairman Dave Carmichael, Post III Commissioner Vernon Colett, Hiram Mayor Theresa Philyaw and Hiram City Councilman Frank Moran for their pro-business attitude and welcoming spirit.
