Hiram High School Stinger Battalion JROTC
On July 2, 2016 Hiram High School Stinger Battalion JROTC cadets showed stupendous volunteerism at the Red, White and Boom event. Following this event on September 6, 2016 these cadets opened the meeting with a color guard posting our nation’s colors, and then all participating cadets were awarded by Mayor Teresa Philyaw at the Hiram Community Center, a certificate of appreciation for the time dedicated celebrating the independence of the nation. The cadets were accompanied by their Senior Army Instructor LTC Moyse and Principal Misty Cooksey. They are both very proud of these students for taking initiative and showing selfless service. Great work cadets, your instructors, fellow cadets, and citizens of Hiram are very proud and appreciate your kind service to this county. Thanks for “Making A Difference.”
