NPHS Fly Fishing & Cold Water Conservation Club

On Sunday, December 3rd several students from the NPHS Fly Fishing & Cold Water Conservation Club fished the trophy trout waters of Unicoi Outfitters, Nacoochee Bend, in Helen Ga. The students were assisted by volunteers from the Cohutta Chapter of Trout Unlimited and Georgia DNR Fisheries Division. The students caught several large trout and made some fantastic memories. During Thanksgiving break, students of the North Paulding High School Fly Fishing & Cold Water Conservation Club assisted the Georgia Department of Natural Resources with stocking trout into the Chattahoochee River. using 5-gallon buckets, they put over 2,000 Rainbow, Brook, and Brown trout into the river. pictured from left to right are Alisha Briell, Cory Brown, Addison Molden, Cody Bloemker, Tripp Weaver, Mr. Rodney Tumlin, Cameron Furr, Danny Ball, Tucker Taylor, Seth Brice, Aidan McGowen, Andrew Thompson, and Andrew Goodman.
