The Hiram HS Rifle Team Ends January 2020 with a Bang!

Ready, aim, fire! The Hiram High School Rifle Team has ended the month of January with a bang! The first month of the new decade has surely been busy for students at Hiram, but for our Rifle Team it has paid off!
On Thursday, January 30, 2020, The Hiram High School Rifle team hosted South Cobb for a rifle match. Hiram was able to defeat south Cobb with a score of 1034- 1005.  The top shooters were Tate Kirby for Hiram, who shot a remarkable 271 and Chelsey Marquez of south cobb who shot a 263! Congratulations to those diligent cadets!
The Team is now 2-4 overall, heading toward their next match with south Paulding on the 13th of February. Shooting is a task that requires both patience and absolute focus! Our Rifle team is a sport that truly allows the individual student to not only improve themselves but also prove themselves!
