Chattahoochee Tech Offers New Option to Earn High School Equivalency
(Marietta, Ga. – Feb. 1, 2021) Chattahoochee Technical College now offers two ways to earn a high school equivalency diploma – the GED test and the HiSET exam.
Both the GED test and the HiSET exam measure high school equivalency skills that reflect the skills of a high school graduate. Chattahoochee Tech offers free classes to help students prepare for taking either exam. Students also have the option of taking these exam preparation classes online or in person. Scholarships and financial aid may be available to help cover the cost of taking either exam. With experienced instructors, free classes, and free practice tests, earning a high school equivalency credential has never been easier.
The GED and the HiSET high school equivalency credentials are recognized by employers, technical colleges and some four-year universities. Both the GED and HiSET high school equivalency credentials open the door to a brighter future and better job opportunities.
“For anyone who didn’t finish high school, we encourage them to earn either the GED or the HiSET high school equivalency credential,” said Chattahoochee Tech Director of Adult Education Chris Hord. “A better life is grounded in a solid education, and we’re here to help.”
