PATRIOTS DISCHARGE COLONELS 14-2

The Paulding Patriots softball team improved their record to 2-2 (1-1) with a mercy rule blitzing of the Cass Colonels from White Georgia. The Patriots scored in each at bat with 4 runs in the first and 5 runs in both the 2nd and 3rd, ending the game early after 4 innings. The Patriots have a tough week this week as they face Carrollton, McEachern and Kell.

Senior Abbie Crawford turns on a pitch in the 3rd inning against Cass. Crawford got the victory allowing only 2 runs in 4 innings of work.Freshman Lexi Brendal turns it on rounding 2nd on her way to a bases clearing triple in the 5 run 3rd inning.​Sophomore Maddie Wagar uses her speed to beat out a hit againts Cass.
