WellStar Paulding Hospital Accommodates Guests with a Complimentary Shuttles Provided by a Donations to the WellStar Foundation

WellStar Paulding Hospital now offers complimentary golf cart shuttle service for hospital visitors, patients and team members. The shuttles are made possible by donations to the WellStar Foundation from Vic Williams Tire & Auto and Ragsdale Heating, Air and Plumbing of Dallas, Ga.
Shuttles are available to patients needing special assistance from their cars to the hospital entrance. During shift changes, they will also be used to shuttle team members from the hospital to the employee parking lot.
The WellStar Paulding Hospital Auxiliary is responsible for operating the shuttles. “We are happy to provide this added convenience to hospital guests and team members,” said Tom Dawson, president of the WellStar Paulding Auxiliary. “As volunteers, we proudly serve our community by assisting hospital visitors and partnering with the WellStar Foundation to provide patient-centered services.” Earlier this year, WellStar Paulding Hospital opened two additional floors, which doubled the number of patient beds from 56 to 112. The project was funded with help from donations by the Paulding community to the WellStar Foundation.
