On September 8th, 2016 Brittany Brown was awarded The University of Georgia’s 40 Under 40 award, given by the Alumni Association to outstanding young UGA alumni under the age of 40. This year, nearly 400 nominations were submitted. Selections were based on the graduates' commitment to a lifelong relationship with UGA and their successes in both personal and professional endeavors.
Brittany is a “Double Dawg” having received her AB in 2007, and her MA in 2015. She is serving others as a Combat Stress Recovery Specialist with the Wounded Warrior Project. Through her work, she has helped over 150 Warriors learn coping and resiliency skills to help manage their PTSD. Congrats Brittany! Go Dawgs!!!
