Paulding County school bus drivers tested their driving skills Saturday, April 29 during the annual Paulding County School Bus Road-EO. The course included obstacles drivers encounter every day on bus routes. Some of the obstacles were parallel parking, backing into a narrow parking space, student bus stop, and crossing over railroad tracks. For school bus drivers, student safety is the number one priority and these dedicated drivers reaffirm this commitment throughout the competition. Congratulations to this year’s winners:1st place- Joe Andree, 2nd place- Tammy Speer, 3rd place- Darwin Young. The top 2 winners will move on to represent Paulding County in the Georgia State Safety Competition June 7-8.
