The Dallas Housing Authority is currently seeking a qualified candidate for a position in the Authority’s Property Management office. This is a highly responsible administrative position that reports directly to the Executive Director. Duties performed include but are not limited to reviewing applications for housing, completing eligibility reviews, leasing apartments, providing customer service, and maintaining files. All duties must be performed in accordance with Program rules and regulations.
The ideal candidate should have at least three (3) years of experience working in the leasing and occupancy of federally subsidized housing properties. Other property management experience will be considered. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree from an accredited college or university is a plus.

This position is responsible for directing and managing the day-to-day operations of the Authority and reports directly to a six-member Board of Commissioners. Duties performed include but are not limited to managing day-to-day operations including employee performance, payroll and accounts payable, preparing reports, contracting building improvements, and providing customer service. All duties must be performed in accordance with Program rules and regulations.
Potential candidates should have at least five (5) years of experience working in a managerial role within a similar or related field. Knowledge of HUD affordable housing programs is a plus. Candidates should have excellent computer and communication skills. A degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
