Saturday, December 21, at 11:00 am until food is gone. No charge. Where: 54 Braswell Mt. Road.
For the past 17 years, the BBQ Dudes of Burnt Hickory have been fortunate to have support from the community and surrounding areas to help people in need. With your help, we have raised thousands of dollars to ease the burdens of many individuals. During those 17 years, we have lost many of our original founders. Danny McPherson, Alton Pope, Clinton Yarbrough, and Tobar Ruff. In honor of our fellow “Dudes,” we would like to give back to the community in the only way we know how.
On December 21st, starting at 11:00, please join us at the community building for a free luncheon of delicious barbecue. Get to know our workers and share a story or two.
We are asking “families in need“ to come on out and pick up a plate or sit down and enjoy the company. If you know of a struggling family that would like to stop by for a plate please let them know. If anyone would be interested in making a few Christmas cupcakes we would greatly appreciate the donation. Thank you to the Burnt Hickory community for all your contributions, volunteering, and most of all your prayers. But give that which is within charity, and then all things are clean for you. Luke 11:41
