The Children's Foundation of Paulding donated $1,000 from membership dues to the CAYA Reconciliation Ministries Summer Lunch Program. CAYA prepares over 500 lunches a day through their Summer Lunch Program for under-resourced children. CAYA Reconciliation Ministries works with families in low-income housing communities, single mothers, senior citizens, homeless citizens, and children.
Twenty-four boys and girls ages 12-15 from across Georgia recently participated in the 15th Annual Georgia Trout Camp, sponsored by Georgia Trout Unlimited.
Lieutenant Dee Morris of the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Youth Services Division was awarded the Paulding County Board of Commissioner’s Public Safety Award. Lieutenant Morris was awarded the Commissioner’s Public Safety Award for her exemplary service to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office.
Rep. Tom Graves today voted for and the House passed the Department of Defense Appropriations Act (H.R. 6157), annual legislation that funds the military. “This bipartisan legislation is another critical piece of President Trump’s plan to rebuild the military,” said Rep. Graves.
