RARR Brings Awareness to Road Rage and Domestic Violence Tragedy struck the Norman household when their son, Kyle Norman, was killed as an innocent victim of a road rage incident. As a result, Kyle’s father, David Norman, established RARR (Ride Against Road Rage) in the summer of 2015 to honor the life of his son. RARR exists to bring awareness to the seriousness of road rage and the families it has impacted.
On Saturday, September 24 th , 2016, RARR held their 2 nd annual “Ride Against Road Rage” and chose Shepherd’s Rest Ministries, Inc. to be the recipient of the proceeds. This ride not only brought public awareness to the problem of road rage and its impact, but it also brought much needed awareness to the problem of domestic violence. Mr. Norman was able to present Dr. Kathryn Melton, Executive Director of Shepherd’s Rest Ministries, with a check for $800 from the ride to benefit Shepherd’s Rest’s shelter and services for battered women and their children.
