Naomi Holland Donates to the Local Library Services
Thanks, Naomi Holland for a generous donation of $100 to help sponsor our Crossroads Library Branch Manager, Kristy Greene to attend the 2017 American Library Association Conference as the Paulding County Library Services Representative in Chicago in June. Naomi is a longtime supporter and frequent donor to The Paulding County Library Services. Naomi and her late husband and local attorney, Hubert Holland established two separate trust funds benefiting the Paulding County Library in the 1980’s. These trust funds provide annual contributions toward the purchase of craft supplies and library programs. Over the years, Naomi has continued her loyal financial support of the libraries.
Naomi’s great nieces, Kylie Geiger and Autumn Bell are pictured here presenting Naomi’s donation to Kristy Greene.
The American Library Association’s Annual Conference has the reputation for being a top educational and networking opportunity for librarians. The 2017 Conference theme “Transforming Our Libraries, Ourselves,” provides programs and sessions with an emphasis on tools to help libraries adapt, stay strong, and improve services despite tight budgets.
Each year the entire Paulding County Library management team and staff contribute to visible improvements in the quality and quantity of library services offered to patrons. We attribute those management and staff contributions to our dedication to continuing to “sharpen the saw”. If you or your business would like to help sponsor our 2017 Summer Reading program at one of the four Paulding Libraries or contribute to the Chicago Conference in June, please contact me for more information and donation levels. or 678-224-4393.
Thank you, Naomi for supporting your library and giving back to the Paulding Community!
