Hiram Elementary School 5th grade Beta Club collects donations for Helping Hands

The Hiram Elementary School 5th grade Beta Club members are definitely feeling the spirit of giving this holiday season. They decided they wanted to help a local organization, Helping Hands, with items they may be missing to help those in need. Each grade level was given items for them to collect throughout a week. The Beta Club students collected these each day. Once they had all of the items collected, they along with many helpful parents went with their leader, Amber Puckett, to deliver the donations. They delivered 120 pounds of food and 77 pounds of nonfood items. Thank you to all of the Beta students, parents, teachers, and those that brought in items to donate. What an amazing show of generosity!
