Dallas, GA - For three days from August 12-14, Kiwanis Club of Paulding County President Phyllis Silverman, Treasurer Alice Dondelinger, Board Member Matt Newsom and Club Opener Herb Silverman went to the 97th Annual Georgia Division of Kiwanis Convention at Callaway Gardens. The purpose of the conference was to educate members, elect the next year’s board of trustees and celebrate the service year.
Additionally, the attendees were treated to fantastic speakers with Kiwanis International President Sue Petrisin, Kiwanis Georgia Governor Richard Dixon and other dignitaries, discussing new insights and action plans on strategy for next year and training and information for both new and returning Kiwanians.
Commenting on all of the bustling programs during the event, Mrs. Silverman said, "the meeting provided excellent information and the opportunity to enjoy renewing friendships."
Kiwanis Club of Paulding County meets on the third Thursday at 7:00 PM at the Paulding Chamber of Commerce, 445 Jimmy Campbell Parkway, Dallas. Everyone is invited. For information, call Herb Silverman at 678-232-0009.
