The Family Vision Center was established in 1978 by Dr. William D. Woods, OD and has provided the best of care to Paulding County ever since. After a long and successful career, Dr. Woods is now entrusting his patients and legacy to Dr. Carlos E. Pessoa, OD. Trained in behavioral and developmental optometry, Dr. Carlos is committed to providing high quality eye care to patients of all ages, and also has a special interest in helping patients with visual/perceptual problems and those with developmental delays. Our services include traditional comprehensive eye exams with top of the line diagnostic equipment, traditional and specialty contact lens fittings, and eye exams catered to patients with special needs. We will soon be providing vision therapy sessions. Dr. Carlos offers exams in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
