3395 Jim Simpson7 2017 2 Introducing Jim Simpson the owner of the Jim Simpson Agency American Family Insurance located at The Crossroads in Dallas, GA. Jim has been a resident of West Atlanta all his life residing in Paulding County for 19 years with his wife Katie, and children, Sophie and Jack. Owning your own business isn’t easy and anyone will tell you that its success comes from the experience gained from your journey and the people you meet. Probably the most significant support for my business is being a member of the Paulding County Chamber. In addition to the many great people and fellow business owners I’ve met through the chamber, I have had the privilege of attending Leadership Paulding class 26, and get to serve as a chamber ambassador. Not only has the Chamber helped me grow my business, but I have become a better citizen as well by becoming more aware of Paulding’s attributes and challenges.
Jim Simpson 3399 Jim also served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. He shipped off to Parris Island in January 1996 and checked into his unit MWSS-472 later that year in December. He served for 6 years as a Wire Technician and earned an Honorable Discharge as a Sargent. Out of all my experiences in life, my time in the Marine Corps did the most to help me see the world outside the comfort of my family and the local community. It was an honor to have served my country committing to even give my life if called upon. This sense of service hasn’t been forgotten as I continue to try to live my life with the purpose of helping others in any way I can.
