On July 12th South Paulding High School Construction Technology Instructor Kelly Almond was sworn in as the 2016/2017 President of the Georgia Association for Career and Technical Education (GACTE) during the 69th annual GACTE summer Conference. GACTE is one of the country's largest teacher associations that advocates specifically for career, technical, and agricultural education and it's teachers.
Mr. Almond is excited and motivated at the opportunity to engage and train the students at SPHS by introducing them to a variety of career opportunities within the construction trades. SPHS offers a wide variety of other Career and Technical Education pathways such as Automotive, Business & Computer Science, Cosmetology, Culinary, Health Occupations, Marketing, and JROTC.
