Heading to Washington DC
Congratulation to the Hiram HS JROTC Leadership team. Competing against Army JROTC programs from across the country and around the world, approximately 1,327 teams in round one and 549 teams in round two, the Stinger BN Leadership Team earned one of forty spots to the annual Leadership Championship (JLAB) in Washington, DC. During the JLAB 2017 Leadership Championship, the teams will compete in a full day of oral, written, and hands-on tests and examinations. The three teams with the highest scores will compete on stage in a quiz bowl format with a moderator and buzzer system to determine the National Army JROTC Leadership Champion. In addition, reflecting on their JROTC lessons and the JLAB experience, the cadets will enhance their understanding and knowledge of US history, government, and key historical figures by participating in a leadership scavenger hunt in one of the national parks or museums and by exploring our nation’s monuments and museums in Washington, DC. Again, congratulations to Hiram HS JROTC program, Hiram HS and the Paulding county School district.
