HHS CTI Members Received Honors at Georgia CTI State Conference

Hiram High School Career & Technical Instruction (CTI) members attended the 36 th Annual State Leadership Conference on April 19-21, 2017 at the Rock Eagle 4-H Center located in Eatonton, GA. Over 450 students from across the state attended the conference and had the opportunity to compete in one of 28 competitive events. Hiram High CTI had three representatives attend the Conference. Azavian Joiner (pictured on left) competed in the Public Speaking Event and received a trophy for placing 2 nd in the state; Timothy Thurner (center) received a medal for participating in the Community/Civic Awareness Event; and Lary Gonzalez (pictured on right) was the HHS CTI Chairperson for the Outstanding School of the Year entry. HHS CTI received 2 nd place in the state for Outstanding School of the Year, and Lary accepted the trophy and plaque for the school.
