NPHS AP Environmental Science students paddle the Etowah River

On Saturday the 13th, twenty four NPHS AP Environmental Science students and two teachers paddled a 9 mile stretch of the Etowah River from Euharlee Bridge to the Highway 411. It was their 3rd paddle trip of the year. Students were able to see a bald eagle, muskrats, beavers, blue heron's, prehistoric Indian fish weirs, and various farms.
