Paulding County Student Shawanna Davis receives Wesley Rakestraw Scholarship

Each year the Rakestraw family gives a scholarship in memory of Wesley Rakestraw. Welsey was a wonderful father, husband, friend and businessman in Paulding County. His family honors him by presenting a scholarship, through the Paulding Education Foundation. The scholarship is presented every year to a student from Paulding County High School. This year’s Wesley Rakestraw Memorial Scholarship was presented by Lindsey Rakestraw to Miss Shawanna Davis.
Shawanna will be headed to the University of Georgia in the fall with a major in Computer Science.
