Hiram Elementary's Character Kid: Genevieve Smith
Genevieve Smith at Hiram Elementary is truly a fair person! Mrs. Nikki Stewart’s 2nd-grade class chose Genevieve as January’s Character Kid for the word "Fairness". One student from each classroom is chosen to represent the class based on if they exhibit the qualities of the monthly trait. For Fairness, the qualities are the correct, proper, and reasonable treatment or behavior. Genevieve is a great example of a person who shows Fairness. Her teacher, Mrs. Stewart, said, "I would like to nominate Genevieve Smith. Genevieve is such a model student. She always includes her classmates and considers everyone's feelings. She is a great friend to everyone she meets and treats others the way she wants to be treated. Great job Genevieve! " As a result of her nomination by Mrs. Stewart, Genevieve was chosen to represent Hiram Elementary at the county Board of Education meetings along with other students that show Fairness at their school. Kevin and Sherry Smith (parents), Paul Wilder (principal), Tanga Ford (counselor), and Nikki Stewart (teacher) were all there to support her. Hiram Elementary is very proud to have Genevieve Smith represent our school. Congratulations Genevieve!
