W. C. Abney Venture Students State Finalists at 2018 K-12 InVenture Prize at GA Tech

W. C. Abney Elementary 5th grade Venture teacher Mrs. Tonya Bradley led her class through each process of creating a unique invention. The girls (team name Tech-Nados) invented the 4 Ever Marker and were chosen to represent Abney at the State Level at Georgia Tech for the 2018 K-12 InVenture Prize. Over 4,000 students submitted entries and 90 teams were chosen to compete at the event. The InVenture Prize at Georgia Tech is the largest undergraduate invention competition in the United States. Televised live on Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB), teams of Georgia Tech students present their comprehensive invention showcasing both the engineer and the entrepreneur. What a huge honor and your Abney family is very proud of you!!!
