South Paulding Spartans hosted the Douglas county Tigers on homecoming night. Looking for their first win the Spartan defense played tuff in the first half hoping the offense could come together and get into the end zone. #26 Michael Carter led the defense all night with one interception for the Spartans only score of the night. The Spartan offense did not get anything to go right. This kept the Spartan defense on the field for most of the game. The Tigers wore down the Spartan defense to end the game with a 52-7 win over the Spartans. The Spartans host the 4-0 Northgate Vikings this Friday night at home.
