LADY PATRIOTS DISCHARGE THE COLONELS 5-2

The Paulding County Lady Patriots traveled north to White Georgia on Tuesday to face the Cass Colonels in a region 7 match. The Patriots remained undefeated in region play at 7-0 by defeating the Colonels 5-2. With only one region match remaining at Rome on April 11th the Patriots are assured of a state playoff spot of no less than a #2 seed.The match against Rome will possibly decide the region champion.
The Lady Patriots got off to a fast start with Gabby Stewart scoring just 2 minutes into the match. Michayla Barnes picked up the scoring 16 minutes later scoring her first of 3 goals for the hat trick.Alexandra Sarabia netted the final tally for the Patriots. The Patriots next travel to Sandy Creek on Friday in a non region game before taking spring break.
