LADY PATRIOTS AREA 7 SOCCER CHAMPS!!

The Paulding County Patriots have a new banner to hang in their gymnasium. The Lady Patriots captured the region crown by going 7-1 in area play. The Lady Patriots are now the #1 seed from Area 7 going into the state playoffs. Their hard work and determination has paid dividends this season as now they will host the first round of the state playoffs on April 27 at Dave Hardin Stadium.
This is the second year in a row the Patriots have made the playoffs, last year the Patriots were bumped in the 1st round at Gainesville despite a great regular season. This years team is loaded with 8 seniors and also some talented underclassmen. Coaches Matt Putman and Len Walters have extolled that they had been hoping this would come to fruition as these girls have worked extremely hard for the last 3 years to attain their current success. They will host either Clarkston or SW Dekalb in the first round of the state playoffs.
The Lady Patriots have 2 more non-region matches left on their schedule at New Manchester and at home versus Pebblebrook on Friday the 21st for Senior Night. Come out and honor these young ladies for their athletic contributions and hard work.
