Rome Races Past Paulding County 62-0

The Rome Wolves trekked south to Dallas Friday night in search of new prey. They met the Paulding County Patriots at Dave Hardin Stadium.When the final horn sounded there was little doubt this Rome team is the best team in the region and likely in the state. The defending state champs showed they are just as formidable as the 2016 team and maybe more prolific. The Wolves tallied 21 points in the 1st quarter and 28 points in the 2nd quarter taking a 49-0 lead into the locker room. The Patriots just could' not get anything going against the Rome defense.The Patriots must press the reset button and get ready for a critical game Friday as they travel south to play Villa Rica.
