Patriots Win A Thriller 35-34

The Paulding County Patriots like to play on grass and they like to play teams with Wildcats as their mascot, and they would love it if you schedule them for your homecoming. The Patriots traveled north this week to Woodland and with the Etowah River flowing as their backdrop the Patriots once again pulled out a victory and spoiled another homecoming in the last seconds over a much improved Woodland squad 35-34.
The win improved the Patriots record to 3-2 in the region and keeps them in the conversation for a state playoff bid. Trailing at one time 28-7 in the first half, the Patriots remained calm and never gave up and outscored Woodland and their Power T offense 28-6 in the remainder of the game. The Patriots have a bye this week and will resume action next Friday at home for their Homecoming against Cass from White Georgia.
